Return to the UC kicks off with a lively music program featuring old-time bluegrass and gospel selections played by 14 musicians on an accordion, banjos, various guitars and other instruments, as well as voices. Come ready to tap your feet!
About the Presenter: Matt Drinkard developed an interest in bluegrass music, which included guitar and banjo, at the age of thirteen. Years later, he worked as a church music leader. After retirement from GM, he created Brooklands Folk Workshop and then the Red Barn Revival Band. Matt and his wife Nan, who plays mandolin, have attracted many other talented musicians.
